Podcasting, the oil and gas industry with one of them and the other is a faith based pod, one is professional/paid (oil & gas) and the other is a passion project. We serve both by being a trusted source of information/wisdom.
Why would someone choose you over a competitor?
For the Oil & Gas show because of the quality of our content and value to the listener compared to other pods. For the passion project it would be the specific subject itself that we discussion which is renewing the Christian social and political imagination.

In 2009 thirty days after getting married and becoming a Stepfather to 2 of my 3 wonderful children I was let go in a reduction in force from Schlumberger. It was the epitome of being blind sided in every way. Perseverance, the love and support of my wife and the revelation that my job had become my identity got me through it.

What advice would you give the “20-Year-Old-You” who’s eager to start in life?
No person, job, achievement, degree or material thing will ever fulfill you. Take the journey within and trust your heart and mind when pivoted against the “real” world.
