Interviews
Nikki Frias Released Her First Book “Does This Divorce Make Me Look Fat?”

What is your area of expertise, who do you serve, and how do you serve them?
Writing. serve me, and I do what I want.
Why would someone choose you over a competitor?
They should choose whoever fits what they’re looking for, but if they want a fiery opinionated funny writer, I’m your girl.
Share a specific time you encountered an obstacle and describe how you overcame it.
I had issues breaking into the writing industry when I first started because I didn’t have a portfolio. I used to continuously pitch unpaid opportunities and would never hear a peep. Eventually, my frustrations pushed me in a different direction and I created the change I sought. I created my own platform and started to share the stories of writers looking for the same opportunity. Since its inception, Girltellme.com has published over 150 writers and counting. I realized whatever I wanted was possible it was just something I had make happen for myself.
Share a short story about your best (or favorite) case study.
When I first started promoting Girltellme.com full time I got a donation that changed my mindset on reaching my goals; the CEO of T-Mobile. I commented on Twitter to one of his tweets and he responded “Oh, you should follow T-Mobile!” to which I replied, “…and you should donate to my company.”
…20 minutes one of Girltellme.com’s first donations was from a multi-millionaire, Mike Sievert.
What advice would you give the “20-Year-Old-You” who’s eager to start in life?
Whatever you think you want for life will change; have patience.
Please describe a monumental time in your life that you’ll never forget.
I just released my first book, “Does this Divorce Make Me Look Fat?” It’s been a goal for over 5 years and I finally did it.
