My area of expertise is public speaking and I currently serve fountain of life church through event coordination.

My competitive advantage is a strong sense of stage presence and an aura that is believed to have an “attention grabbing” effect on the audience. My articulation is quite fluent and not complex making it easy for my audience to understand any message I may try to communicate. Audience engagement is a corner stone for me and the above mentioned are a few of the many reasons I should be chosen over a competitor.

Mid 2017 I was in the process of acquiring a taxi for my transport company, unfortunately along the way I was robbed of all my capital and left with nothing, back to zero and square one. That was a really difficult challenge for me as it left me in a financial crisis. I overcame it firstly through prayer, help from my family and friends and reminding myself that the entrepreneurial journey is never a smooth nor a straight line. There may be bumps and bruises, twists and turns along the way but the best is always yet to come so no matter what you encounter in your discourse, keep moving. It may hurt and frustrate you but keep moving.

Having dropped out of uni due to lack of funding, I had walked to and from the streets of my city (Lusaka) seeking many ways to sustain myself. On an ordinary rainy day, I was informed by the registrar at my university of an opportunity to apply for a scholarship with 100% sponsorship by a named household bank. I hesitated not even one bit, rushed to the institution and applied. A few months later on a fateful day, I received a call by the chief accountant requesting me to go and sign the contract for my scholarship, boy did I run my way to her office without any hesitation whatsoever. That day was the beginning of a new page in my life.

Life is a journey and you are in your own race. Never downplay your small progress by comparing it to that of others. Let your journey be unique and do not be scared to be different, do not be scared to take risks, to fail and to start again as it is all part of the process. Be kind to yourself but not too soft and be the best there will ever be.

I once was requested by the largest local newspaper (the daily mail) to share my life’s journey. This was monumental for me because this is the paper the president of my country reads first thing in the morning everyday and I was on the front page. So I can safely assume the president read about my story, that is a huge milestone worth noting and celebrating.
