Andreana Salvemini: The Social Media Expert You Need To Know

Staff Writer

Andreana Salvemini

What is your area of expertise, who do you serve, and how do you serve them?

My expertise is in social media and reputation management. I work with small to medium businesses nationwide to keep their social media looking stellar! I serve them remotely and virtually online.

Why would someone choose you over a competitor?

I am a real person. I work around the clock and make myself available to my clients all the time. I provide personalized and branded content at very reasonable rates.

Share a specific time you encountered an obstacle and describe how you overcame it.

I have encountered many obstacles since I started my company in 2015. My biggest obstacle was finding clientele! I had never worked in sales, so I had to get creative in how to find businesses I could work with. I attended local markets, sent emails, completed physical reports and dropped them at local businesses, cold-called, and offered referral bonuses to my existing clientele. After this helped to slowly build my business, I moved into more networking events and started to meet people and get more referrals over time.

Share a short story about your best (or favorite) case study.

I helped a small bakery in Austin, TX grow from the ground up. They started with very few followers, were brand new in their area, and didn’t really have a lot of recognition. In the years we worked together, through consistent social media management and local exposure, they were featured on the Food Network, The Knot, Martha Stewart’s Bridal magazine, and in countless other wedding publications and baking shows. They now almost have 10K followers and have become a real household name in the Austin area!

What advice would you give the “20-Year-Old-You” who’s eager to start in life?

Follow your heart and trust in yourself. Don’t give up and keep being creative and hustling to make it work!

Please describe a monumental time in your life that you’ll never forget.

Leaving the world of digital agencies and starting my own company was a huge moment. I was terrified. But I had support and a few clients to get started with, so I took a leap of faith and did it! My portfolio shrank and I didn’t have the benefits I did with another company, but I had so much freedom in how I wanted to structure my life and company, and that was so rewarding!
